Images of Inspiration - WEEK 23 - Summer time fun!

Whew~!  What a whirlwind these last few weeks have been!  Mommy duties combined with Studios duties, and adding in a little much needed "me" time whenever possible has proven exhausting!

Anyhow - here is my most recent favorite shot:  Waldameer fun with Miss Sophia.  Enjoy!

This past week I was asked do a behind the scenes shoot for Catherine Forman-Bliss.  Cat, being a photog herself, wanted some shots of herself shooting for promotional stuff.  WOWZA - LOVE when fellow photogs ask ME to photograph THEM! 

Um, yea, that's the hottness right there.

I took these shots just a couple of weeks ago when it SNOWED in April.  Amazing to think that just yesterday I was outside mowing my lawn and planting tulips! 

Come ooooon nice weather!  We are all quite impatient at this point!

My daughter is obviously my favorite model!  This past week she had a great experience at the Erie Zoo petting zoo!  Check out the joy on her little face!

Today I got to spend some fantastic quality time with my lovely little girl, Miss Sophia, at the Erie Zoo.  She was a comical little thing, complete with dancing in the gazeebo, yee haw-ing at the donkeys and taking two spins on the carousel before announcing that she was "da done."

My favorite shots of the day are below. Her happiness is contagious.

This morning, I went down to the peninsula for a brief moment of quiet time, along with some casual shooting.

Seeing the ice breaking off into the moving water was so peaceful and serene.  My favorite shot of the day is below.

I think I might have to invest in more of that quiet time.  Makes for excellent shooting.

This past Friday night, Sophia and I had a Mommy/Daughter date night - complete with dressing up!  This is my favorite shot of the evening.  She was so happy!  (Please keep in mind that this shot was taken with my phone.)
